Ergo U Forearm Support
Ergo U is an articulated forearm support that holds the forearm during movements and actions throughout the day. This support aims to lighten the weight of the upper body (arm, shoulder and neck) by transferring it to a stable surface to which it is fixed. The user's movements are supported both by the joints and by the arms of the support, which are perfectly rotatable and height-adjustable. The weight of the arm rests entirely on the gutter that holds the forearm. Movements are fluid, effortless and without any resistance. The user can therefore concentrate solely on the task at hand without getting tired. In this position, arms’, neck’s and shoulders’ muscles are relaxed which reduces the risk of developing Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI).

The Ergo U support, thanks to its specific features and adjustments, fits to a multitude of workstations (desks, tables) with a maximum thickness of 52mm as well as to both standing and sitting work positions. It is generally used on desks with a reduced worktop depth. In this type of installation, the support is placed in a flat linear configuration (no height) at the edge of the table and parallel to the worktop so that the arm is supported at the same level as the work tools. Robust and easy to install thanks to its rotating fixing clamp, it is very easy to handle thanks to its 360° joints. The gutter is height-adjustable via a notch mechanism that locks at several levels up to 75mm in height allowing standing work. This is the case, for example, on manual workstations (laboratories, handling, jewelers). The objective of the Ergo U is to adapt to the user's morphology and movements. Its purpose is to support the arm by absorbing the body weight and the resulting muscular tensions. In this way, the forearm support fights against muscular fatigue and prevents the development of Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI).
