The Form is a thin keyboard, with backlit Gateron KS-33 Red mechanical keys, requiring a force of 50g of pressure to action the key. Keys are easily activated as there is a minimal distance of 3.2mm between the key and the keyboard. This keyboard innovation resides in its large touchpad in the center of the keyboard, which splits the keys of the keyboard into two zones on either side of the pad. The same concept can be found in Kinesis Freestyle keyboards where the keyboard is splitted into two modules in order to reduce any ulnar deviation. Therefore, arms are positioned parallel to the body and wrists aligned with the forearms. This not only improves the position of the hands but has a broader impact on posture in general. Hands remain in line with shoulders preventing user from curling up when using the keyboard.

The central touchpad combines ergonomics with productivity and practicality. The touchpad allows not only to move the cursor and scroll into pages.
