Steno Number Pad White
The Steno number pad is a very light independent tool that includes shortcuts and full-size keys. It was designed to accompany the Steno keyboard and be placed on the right or left side of it. Its objective is to minimise hand travel distance between the keyboard and mouse. Its shortcuts provide flexibility and increase productivity as it includes all necessary functions that reduces the need to search for additional keys outside of the hand reach area. The Steno number pad is extremely flat with only 10.5mm thickness and has a design that prevents hand extensions. With the above mentioned caracteristics, the position adopted by the user find its hands parallel to the keys, ready to pressed them with no additional effort. Hand extensions are often a major cause of the development of Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI), due to repetitive efforts and continuous strain on the wrist muscles.

A flat number pad with shortcuts
Composed of 22 keys and very light weight, Steno number pad can fit any laptop bag along with its buddy the Steno keyboard. The number pad should be installed at any place on the desk that best fit user’s needs. However, ergonomically wise, it is advisable that the number pad should be positioned on the opposite side of the mouse or simply in front of its user for better manipulation. The number pad was designed to offer all functions and shortcuts that are mainly used in excel sheets and calculations. Its aim is to increase work productivity and reduce fatigue during the long working hours. The fingers and wrist should be parallel to the keys with a perfect alignment on the same axis with hand, and forearm. This position prevents fingers deviation and the continuous muscles solicitation. Thanks to its quiet and soft keys, the work naturally becomes more fluid, silent and pleasant.

- Plug and play and compatibility: Steno is a plug and play keyboard and it is compatible with Windows and iOS. No extra software/driver installation is needed.
- Ideal positionning: Steno number pad fit any computer set up: It can be displayed on the opposite side of the mouse (right or on the left of the keyboard) to best fit user’s needs. In certain cases the user can also placed it in front of him if need be.
- Wired connection: USB C connection to the number pad and USB A to connect to the computer.
- Silent and sensitive keys: The installed keys provide a minimum noise when typing. They are also sensitive and they can be activated with a minimum of pressure. The limited travel distance between the idle key position and its final contact with the keyboard PCB makes the effort to be as minimal as possible.
- Fit any computer set up: With its 1.5 m cable length provides enough flexibility to be connected on both laptop and desktop easily.
- Full size keys and shortcuts: It is composed of 22 keys including shortcuts for additional functions. Special functions/shortcuts (green secondary functions on certain keys) are activated by holding down the “Fn” key and then pressing the desired action key.
